RCUK planning to increase support of OA

Research Councils UK has recently published an independent study into open access to research outputs. The study examines the impact of open access on publishing models and institutional repositories in view of growing national and international trends. In response to the study, the Chief Executives of the Research Councils have agreed increased support for open access.
