Libraries and publishers issue joint statement on OA
The International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA) and the International Publishers Association (IPA) have issued a joint statement calling for a more objective debate about Open Access based on empirical facts. They emphasise the importance of the issue and the opportunities which Open Access offers for scholarly communication.
