TU Dresden adopts Open Access Resolution

The Rectorial Board and the Senate of the TU Dresden recently adopted an Open Access Resolution drafted in the spirit of the Berlin Declaration. Thus the TU Dresden and the Library of the State of Saxony and the University (SLUB) are increasing their efforts to implement Open Access to scholarly research. The Resolution calls on TU Dresden scholars to deposit their scholarly publications in the Qucosa repository, and recommends that they publish their work directly in Open Access journals. The SLUB is supporting this process with a service concept that includes an OA publishing fund.  Open Access is a successful concept for the science sector and a strategically important goal for the TU Dresden and the SLUB.
