Copyright Coalition sees no need for ancillary copyright
After a hearing on the subject of ancillary copyright at the Federal Press Office on Monday, 29 June, the Coalition for Action "Copyright for Education and Research" issued a press release endorsing the widely held view that an ancillary copyright for publishers is unnecessary, and reminding the Government that the planned Third Basket is supposed to be a "Science Basket" and must pay particular regard to the copyright-related needs of education and science.
