OAT 2018 - Call for proposals published

01.03.2018

The Open-Access-Tage (Open Access Days, OAT) will take place in Graz, Austria from 24 to 26 September 2018. The conference will be hosted by the University of Graz in collaboration with the information platform open-access.net. The motto of this year's OAT is "Varieties of Open Access".

With between 300 and 400 participants, the OAT is the main annual conference on the subject of Open Access in the German-speaking area. It targets all those who engage intensively with the opportunities, conditions, and prospects for scholarly publishing. This target group includes employees of libraries and other science infrastructure institutions, as well as scientists and members of the science administration.

Besides submissions of proposals for presentations and for a poster session, we would like, in particular, to draw your attention to the formats that we introduced last year. For this year, too, there will be a "Tool Marketplace" and spontaneous sessions.

The conference language of the OAT 2018 is German. However, contributions in English are also welcome.

The programme committee especially welcomes submissions on the following topics:
•     Where does Green Open Access stand today?
•     Open Access in the context of Open Science
•     Open Educational Resources

Proposals may of course also be submitted on other Open Access topics.

The complete call for proposals can be found here.

All other information on the conference can be found here.

We look forward to seeing you in Graz!
