Open Library of Humanities plans to extend its reach to other disciplines

The Open Library of Humanities (OLH), which was launched in September 2015 following several years of preparation, is a platform for OA journals in the humanities and social sciences. The OLH is a not-for-profit organisation for the promotion of science and open access. In an interview with scilog, the co-founder and director of the OLH, Caroline Edwards, explained how the online platform wants to reform academic publishing in the humanities and why it is essential to get the scientific community on board. In the coming years, the OLH intends to extend its reach to other disciplines; multilingual platforms are currently under construction.
