New open access subject repository for American and English studies

The Stacks is an inter-disciplinary subject repository for American studies, Anglophone literatures and cultures, Australian and New Zealand studies, British and Irish studies, Canadian studies, and English, including all sub-fields.

In addition to self-archiving already published works (e.g., articles and monographs), scholars may make unpublished documents, such as lecture manuscripts, teaching materials, or conference programmes, available to the public via the repository. The repository also archives entire journal volumes and publication series. All documents are made available in open access either immediately or after a freely selectable embargo period.

The subject repository was built up within the framework of the DFG-funded Scientific Information Service Anglo-American Culture. It is operated on a permanent basis by the Library of Anglo-American Culture & History.
