Open Access Talk: New event on Open Access requirements in EU projects

The 2nd event in the Open Access Talk series - "Open Access requirements in EU projects" - will take place on 27 August 2020 at 14:00 hrs.

The 2nd seminar in our Open Access Talk series will take place on Thursday, 27 August 2020 at 14.00 hrs.

In the lecture "Open Access Guidelines in EU Projects" the legal requirements of the EU Commission for Open Access in projects funded by the Commission will be examined. The legally relevant text will be broken down into simple work modules, so that a clear picture emerges of what is required of the staff and project coordinators at what point in time.

Among other things, we deal with the questions:

  • What exactly does the EU Commission demand of the projects?
  • How can I finance Open Access in EU projects?
  • What changes in requirements will there be under Plan S?
  • Where can I get more in-depth advice and who can I contact if I need help?

The presentation will be given by Lena Dreher, National Open Access Desk Germany for the OpenAIRE project, which provides free advice on Open Science issues to all EU-funded projects on behalf of the EU Commission.

Scientists, students and all other interested parties are invited. No previous knowledge of Open Science is required for the lecture. The event is in German. Registration is not required. The room will open on 27 August at 13:50 hrs. To participate please click here.
