The next Open Access Talk "Publishing Your Book in Open Access? - Tips and Tricks to Consider" will take place on March 25 from 2 to 3 pm.

Using the newly launched OAPEN OA Books Toolkit (https://oabooks-toolkit.org) as point of departure Niels Stern (Director of OAPEN Foundation) will present key things to consider when publishing a scholarly book open access. The main focus of the presentation will be on funding, quality assurance and discoverability/visibility in order to answer questions like:

  • Are there quality criteria for open access book publishers that I should consider when choosing a publisher?
  • Which license should I use for open access books or chapters?
  • Where can I find information on the financial support of open access books?

Researchers, students and all other interested parties are invited to this Open Access Talk. The speaker will present in English. The presentation will take half an hour. Afterwards, there will be plenty of room for questions and discussion. Registration is not required. You can participate via the following link: https://meet.gwdg.de/b/jes-dwc-6zq
