The next Open Access Talk "Open Access Basics: How to Publish and What to Consider?" will take place on 28th January 2021 from 2-3 pm (CET).

In the presentation Jessika Rücknagel (Project open-access.network, TIB) and Dr. Stefan Schmeja (publication services, TIB) will talk about general aspects concerning open access. More and more funders and institutions expect their researchers to publish research results open access. Furthermore, publishing open access increases the visibility of publications. But how can you make publications ideally accessible to the community?  

The presentation will address this and further questions such as:

• Which publication models exists? Which ones are suitable for me?
• Where can I publish according to open access? How do I find a suitable journal?
• What are the most common requirements of research funders?

Researchers, students and all other interested parties are invited to this Open Access Talk. The speakers will present in English. The presentation will take half an hour. Afterwards, there will be plenty of room for questions and discussion. Registration is not required.
