Publishing Open Access: How to evaluate a journal's quality

The next Open Access Talk will take place on Thursday July 29 from 2 to 3 pm. In the talk "Publishing Open Access: How to evaluate a journal's quality", Stefan Schmeja and Jessika Rücknagel provide an overview of important requirements for open access journals. The speakers address criteria that authors can consider to choose a suitable publication venue.

Among other things, we will address the following questions:

  • How does quality assurance work in the publication process?
  • How can I assess the trustworthiness and professionalism of a journal?
  • How can I find quality-assured journals?

Researchers, students and all other interested parties are invited to this Open Access Talk. The presentation will be given in English and will take half an hour.
